Invent a drawstring duffle bag that you can wear over your shoulder or on your back. This class introduces the idea of scale modelling by demonstrating how to prototype your bag out of newsprint chipper paper. You will then learn the basics of using a hand crank sewing machine along with other tools to create leather and rivet work as well as enjoying hausgemachte cake, candles and tea or coffee.

We take you comfortably step by step to show just how easy it is to make a quality, bespoke bag. The workshop is aimed at all levels: for those familiar with DIY you can make use of all the equipment we have, and If that is not your cuppa tea but you would love to make a bag, we are happy to take over the tools and there is still plenty for you to go on with.

What is included? Everything! You just need to bring yourself. We provide12oz canvas, veg tanned bridle leather, hand hammered copper rivets, brass hardware and paracord drawstring rope. To make your bag unique, you can choose between a black or natural canvas fabric, same or contrasting stitching, leather or wooden fastenings and from a range of coloured rope.
