Katy and Cally met in Berlin.

 

Katy and Cally both love the outdoors, defying the norms of adulthood, and rugged hands that tell stories of hard work and healthy handicraft.

 

Katy runs the business, Derek's Backpacks and is a dexterous master of the hand crank sewing machine.

 

Cally is an artist-turned-stylist who shrewdly turns the act of being a space cadet into a profession.

 

Joined by an enterprising spirit and nimble fingers, they sat in the rain of a dreary Saturday, and with a handsome amount of coffee and a little mischief, the idea for INVENT Berlin was born.
